AAG's New Home

Welcome to the new resource for Lewis & Clark's Academic Awards & Grants Program! Here you will find information on the various fellowship and scholarship opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate students.

As we are currently transitioning from the previous LC webpage, you will need to navigate between both pages in order to find some information. However, once transitioning is complete, http://academicawardsgrants.blogspot.com will serve as the resource for detailed information about these fellowships and scholarships.

Leave a posting or comment for us to let us know how are doing and what we can do to improve this resource for you. Additionally, follow us on Facebook and on Twitter.

Best,

Art History Fellowships at the Metropolitan Musem of Art

The Metropolitan Museum of Art offers a variety of Art History fellowships to graduate students at both the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. Projects undertaken by such students should relate to the Metropolitan Museum's collection. Eleven different fellowships are offered, each with different criteria. Applicants do not need to specify the fellowship for which they are applying.

The number of fellowships awarded varies based on available funding. Senior fellows will receive a $40,000 stipend for one year, with $30,000 for predoctoral fellows as well as up to $5,000 for travel expenses. All fellowships must take place between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010.

  • Eligibility: Varies based on fellowship, but all are intended for graduate students.
  • Deadline: Applications and all supporting materials must be received by November 7, 2008.
